Evolution of the Artwork

Home Evolution of the Artwork RED GREEN BLUE YELLOW About the Artist News and Support

The artwork has evolved in three stages.

Stage One - First draft

Since everyone knows General Motors for the production of cars, we decided to use the artwork to educate about other things the company has done. We grouped these things initially under "Basics of GM", "Innovation Green Technology", "Other Business" and "Community". We also wanted to emphasize that behind the company name are individuals who work as executives, managers, workers etc. And it's individuals who are buying cars and depend on the corporations research for comfort and safety. Therefore a common theme in all four canvases are the abstract figures that represent people.

Stage Two - Modification

We modified the categories to "Global and Diverse", "Environmental Consciousness", "Creation and Movement" and "Community Support" and edited the designs.

Stage Three - The Result

We kept the categories and detailed the design for the 6'x8' paintings in acrylic on canvas.
